About Silverhill
Silverhill is a small town located along Highway 104 and County Road 55, offering quality living in a rural area between Robertsdale and Fairhope. The town is known for the Wales West Light Railway, which is a popular attraction for families looking for a quick afternoon excursion on a replica mountain railway. Silverhill is part of the Baldwin County Public Schools system, but only has one local school, Silverhill Elementary School. Central Baldwin Middle School and Robertsdale High School are a 5-minute drive from the center of Silverhill.
Several local shops and restaurants are situated along Highway 104 at the intersection of County Road 55, giving this area an historic, downtown feel. The area is also home to Navy Outlying Field Silverhill.
